I already have the Angel Cat Painter blog to talk about art and angels and cats and all kinds of creative things quite nicely. And Elizabeth Eckert has the Fresh Garden Diary blog to talk about VEGGIES!!

But as Elizabeth and I were talking just yesterday about our blogs and twitter and other astounding and interesting things, I decided I had better make sure I could talk/write about art and vegetables any old time I wanted to. And I thought I should make a place where garden people and art people would both feel most welcome.

In the beginning, Elizabeth created the Fresh Garden Energy website. It is overflowing with facts, ideas and photos---all sorts of interesting stuff about vegetables and gardening, even eating. As a part of that project, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work closely with her in creating the Green Folk. Surely you realize that all veggies have interesting personalities, innate characteristics, sometimes even captivating or annoying little quirks. How could we resist?

For more than a year we have been collaborating on the creation of anthropomorphized veggies---we call them Green Folk. They all live here among the dancing electrons of the World Wide Web at Fresh Garden Energy. Do go and have a look at your faves... they are bound to make you smile, and think a little more creatively about what you eat.

That's a good thing, don't you think?
